Old Mutual — one of Africa’s oldest financial institutions — was falling behind. Legacy systems. Disconnected tools. A complex advisor journey that slowed down service, frustrated customers, and strained internal teams. So we set out to radically reimagine the entire advisor experience.
What followed was a deep, collaborative process – weeks spent on campus, working side-by-side with product owners, advisors, and internal teams to understand what needed fixing… and what needed reinventing.
The result was The Advisor Dashboard – a powerful new digital platform that gave Old Mutual advisors a 360° view of each customer, with all the data and tools they needed to deliver smarter, faster, more human service.
We simplified and streamlined the quoting, claims, and risk journeys. Built an extensible design system for scale. And reduced key service processes from days to minutes.
As Creative Director, I helped guide the experience and UI teams through this transformation, helping Old Mutual shift from a tangle of disconnected systems to one connected brand experience.
